PATTERNS - Are loaned out for a three-week period beginning when the order is filled.  They are ordered on the regular wardrobe order form used with all wardrobe orders.

A deposit of $7.00 will be required for EACH pattern loaned.  Include with your order a SEPARATE CHECK OR MONEY ORDER for the pattern deposit.  The entire deposit will be returned, if the pattern is RETURNED ON TIME.  If the pattern is not returned within the 3 week period, the deposit will be forfeited, but the pattern still needs to be returned.  Make your check or money order payable to the Texas Girls' choir. See sizes below.

ORDERS - All wardrobe orders must be placed on the official, current, wardrobe order form.  These forms are available on the table just outside the Wardrobe Room.  Mark desired items, be sure to indicate quantity and sizes and enter total amount owed.  Place completed FORM AND CHECK (made payable to TEXAS GIRLS' CHOIR and marked with choir girl's name and choir), for the total amount, in an envelope and place it in the FEE BOX by your daughter's rehearsal room.  Orders are filled each Saturday.  If you place an order before rehearsal begins Saturday, it will be filled that day.  Plan ahead and be sure to supply sizes to avoid delays.  Filled orders must be called for in person before rehearsals are over.  Choir girls can check for orders at Break.

Please DO NOT COMBINE YOUR WARDROBE ORDER CHECK WITH MONEY FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE.

WARDROBE ROOM HOURS - Wardrobe Room will be open from 9:00 AM to 12 noon on each SATURDAY when rehearsals are scheduled.  Additionally, it may be open during choir on some other rehearsal days.  If the top half of the Wardrobe Room door is open, we are open for business.

WARDROBE ROOM IS CLOSED ON DRESS CHECK AND CORRECTION CHECK DAYS. - We will be open some days during the week before.  The days and hours will be posted on the Wardrobe Room Door.  Check it out

OFFICIAL HEM LENGTH - the official hem length is to the top of the knee cap.  It should be level all the way around so that the garment hangs evenly from the floor.  HEM SHOULD BE TURNED UNDER NO MORE THAN 2 INCHES FOR A NICE SMOOTH HEM.

EMBLEM BLOUSE - Emblem on right side.  When worn with any type skirt, always tuck in.  may be worn out only with jeans or shorts.

LABELS - All wardrobe items must be clearly labeled with choir girl's name.  Note required item list for proper location of each label on each garment.

PRE-SHRINKING - We recommend that you pre-shrink all fabric, zippers, and trims.  Check pattern for fit before cutting.

WARDROBE SECTION LEADERS - Girls are to call Wardrobe Section leaders if in doubt about what to wear for a specific occasion, not the choir Office or Wardrobe Chairman.

DRESS CHECK - Dress Check is conducted once each semester and girls must have ALL items on the wardrobe list checked.  Girls will be n notified as to dates and times for Dress Check.  You should begin to get ready IMMEDIATELY after receiving this bulletin.  Girls are not to miss Dress check except for extraordinary circumstance.  Parents not helping to conduct Dress check itself, will not be admitted to the Dress Check area.  Question on Dress Check should be addressed to the Dress Check Chairmen.

BULLETIN BOARD - There is a special bulletin board located in the basement between the Break Room and the Bathrooms - on the West Wall - which is for posting choir items for sale or for choir items needed.  Notes should be placed on a 3" x 5" card and dated then signed by the person posting it.  Cards will be removed after 60 days.  This Bulletin Board is for TGC items only!!!

NAVY BLUE ALL-WEATHER COAT - All Concert girls will need a Navy All-Weather coat for Performances during the Fall and Winter.  Also, it is required wardrobe for all tours.  Even Prep and Main Choir girls who plan to go to Concert Choir should purchase a full length Navy All-Weather coat.  This coat should have no trim and have a zip-out or button-out lining.  Hem length should be halfway between the knee and ankle.
