BACK TO DAY 6

Salzburg, Austria

We had a lot of fun touring Salzburg.
We saw the Sound of Music landmarks and Mozart's birthplace.

Gabby was our Salzburg walking sightseeing tour guide.

Our guide told us many interesting facts about Salzburg.

A group picture in front of the water fountain in Salzburg's square.

Group B also took a group picture here.

Group B and all of our friends joined the picture.

You could take a horsedrawn carriage thru Salzburg.

Below:  Mitch, with the backpack,  took over from here to show us places and history behind the filming of the Sound of Music movie.

On the right: Mitch was a friendly to Brett and Harrison.  He was our funniest tour guide.

'DO' a dear, a female deer, 'RA' a drop of golden sun, 'ME' a name I call my self, etc.

Next, we toured the gardens.  They were beautiful.  The gardners work every day to keep
everything looking so pretty.

A group picture at the pond from the movie.

First, the start of the tour we saw the Pegasus fountain where Maria and the children run around singing "Do, a deer".  We the steps they sang that song on.  Stephanie Fisher

Oh, look we have new faces in our picture, these people wanted their picture made with us.

Can't you see Maria and the children playing here?

Next, a stop at the Gazebo where Leisl sang "I am sixteen going on seventeen"

We saw the house where they filmed the movie.
There it is, the back of the house, just like the movie.

Mrs. Priddy's group took a picture there.
